Stepping up for the females

Not trying to attack you or anything.. But I would try telling this to the 90,000 or so women who get raped every year in the United States alone. (taking in to account that a VERY small amount are actually tallied and reported to the police due to shame, threats, etc.) I also thought Canada ranked very high on the reported rape per capita list. (don't pull the 'women can rape people too' thing.. I believe something over 95% of rapes are male initiated.)
Not to mention the millions more who have experienced some sort of physical assault from a man.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: people suck
men tend to be more aggressive than women, but the general population doesn't go around raping everybody, some people are fucked up and there's not much to be done about that.

Regardless of what you think people mean by it, when it offends someone, it offends them. Just like how a man can whistle at a girl walking down the street and how the girl can find it repulsive or offensive. Most people don't realize how many people feel unwelcome or harassed by their words. Most people are desensitized to an extent but we still feel hurt from a persons words especially when there ARE people with bitter resentment to the opposite sex and are doing it out of bitterness and resentment. Those people, MEAN those words in a harsh light. Some people, if they don't mean it, definitely make it seem like they do by how much they make those ridiculous comments.

How about this; If you didn't want to offend us, instead of trying to put US in the wrong, you just suck up your pride and apologize? Impact over intent. If you didn't mean to offend us, and yet obviously you did, then why not just man up and say "Sorry, didn't mean to be offensive, it won't happen again."? Why is that so difficult?

Not to be rude, but you should be the last person to be saying anything since you're a reoccurring offender of sexist remarks on my BANNED! thread. This is the internet. I can't hear your voice, or see your face when you have something to say, so I never know if you're joking. And to constantly bring it up in my forum game just makes you look more and more like an ass.

If it's a joke, you should make it clear that it is a joke by adding "JK" or "*Sarcasm*" after your comments. Otherwise, you're just looking like an asshole as big as Goate's.

Common sense isn't really as common as one would hope.  Rules have been put in place for a long time because of people who lack these skills.

Having expections for other peoples common sense doesn't make any sense at all.  We were not all brought up in the same conditions.

If there is a poor comment to be posted.  You bet if the rules don't say not too.  it will be said.
