It's actually a hexagonal pattern depicting a snowflake. :)

Existed way before honeycomb was announced.

And I want a Xoom over any other tablet at this point because of unlocked bootloader. Infinite hackability? Awesome. I have a feeling it'll get a following similar to the original T-mobile G1/HTC Dream.
