My monitor just died for good. Waah! It was being all weird earlier, when I would turn it on, the power would cycle at least a dozen times before the screen would display. So instead of turning it off, I would just let the screensaver run (I used to have it auto-shutoff after an hour) and that seemed to work. But then today I just got a glimpse of the display and it died for good. Well, it started to power cycle over and over and then the little 'on light' faded out and then the monitor stopped doing anything at all.

*sigh* I already have to spend $322 I don't really have to get some dental work done tomorrow. Now I have to buy a ($130) monitor too. I am on the laptop right now... but I can't do art on it.

I hate unexpected expenses!

Complaint:  Found out the school that took us in has a lot of gangs, which actually makes me pretty concerned for some of my alt peers as they look big and intimidating, more so then other teenagers. and also the Principal from their school doesn't want our smokers to smoke in their designated one so they made a new as far away from the school as possible. Oh also we're not supposed to leave our designated wing/bunker thingy with out staff accompaniment or something so for a lot of us it goes to having free range of our own building to feeling like prisoners. This disruption is going to take a lot of getting used to -_- fml

I was straightening my hair, got distracted holding hair in place and went grab the straightener, slid my hand in-between the hot plates instead of the base of the straightener...

I'm having one of the worst chronically tiring/dizzying sensations ever to have struck me for the past two days.

This for me too, lately.

Sometimes I cant even bend down to pick something up without feeling like I'm almost gonna pass out from a massive headrush/dizziness, Ive had a couple other people I know complain about this aswell  :-\

Oh nooo, awww D: are you okay for the most part? >.<

Speaking of straightening, I'm always completely terrified and nervous to hell whenever my mom straightens my hair, and why? Because one time when she was straightening my hair, she burnt a small patch of my forehead with the hot plates, she pressed it too close to my forehead. It hurt so muuuch Q~Q

Yes I'm fine there aren't even burn marks even though it was the worse burn I ever got on them lol *shrugs*

I'm also terrified of my mom straightening mine because, even though my hair is straightened, she manages to make it stay all puffy, so it's like "straightened afro" ? wtf

And now for the suck news: I slept 12 + hours yet I'm still tired, and howl is happening today =(

My roommates are so inconsiderate.

A few minutes ago Aja comes come with a couple of friends and comes into the kitchen to throw something away. Earlier, I noticed that they had thrown so much stuff in there, that it was threatening to all fall on the floor. The lid of the can wouldn't even close. I ended up tying the bag closed, hoping one of them would change out the bag (because why should I always do it?)... but instead I hear her go "UGGGGGH! OMG This is so IRRITATING!" and then she rants about it for a bit. I think she was sort of showing off for her friends, but whatever. Has she ever taken out the kitchen garbage? No.

What about all these dishes that are STILL DIRTY!? The big side of the sink is totally unusable because their dishes are overflowing. They did wash a few things, but they never took them out of the drainer, so that is full. The counter that the sink is in is also covered in dishes. There are still dirty dishes out on the porch from a couple of weeks ago... and instead of cleaning them, they put them in a box.

Now they are filling the house with pot smoke even though I have asked them several times to at least burn some (nag champa) incense when they do it so I can't smell the pot. But they aren't even supposed to smoke in the house. They signed an agreement with the landlady, and 'no smoking in the house' is one of the things they agreed to. She even specifically told them not to smoke pot in the house when I brought it up.

Man, I get no respect around here. I am gonna stay until I get my tax return in March sometime, then I am going to find a new place. I don't want to live here anymore if this is how it is going to work.

Sounds like you have grounds to have the landlady evict them?

zenia

I think I will bring it up to her again. Although, if she evicts them, she (apparently) has to evict me too since we all came into this together. She was lenient on them last time... probably because she is a pot smoker too.

Zen

That would only apply if you are both on the same lease agreement. If there are separate leases, she can't evict you for them failing to meet their agreement.

zenia

Nope. We all signed the same piece of paper.

Zen

Dammit, that would mean they void it, including your rental agreement. However, you could try and negotiate a new agreement with her. Don't see why she can't remove them and keep you, then find new renters to fill the gap.

zenia

That is what I wanted to do when we had our meeting with the landlady. She said she'd back me up... but then she didn't. I like the landlady and all, but if she goes back on her word, do I want to stick with her?

Zen

Probably not, especially with dipshit roommates like that. Sucks :/
