"Hey, it's quiet at work right now, think I'll take Monday off." "Hey, a client is coming in Monday and were going to spend hours blathering and kissing ass and we need you here for it." ... "I hate you all."

Went to the dentist to have my super old (like, 20 years old) filling replaced. Dentist took an X-ray and discovered that there is a more pressing one between that tooth and the next one, so I should get that done first. I have been having some cold sensitivity and that is the cause of it, so it is a good idea to have it done. Only... they didn't book enough time (because were were going to do something less intensive originally) so I didn't get anything done. I did have to pay $46 for the x-ray and exam though... and I go in next Thursday for the filling. It will cost $322. T____T At least I have a credit card with a limit high enough to be able to cover that. *sigh*

... And I will still have to get the thing I wanted to get done originally done, but later on since I won't want to rack the card right up to the limit.

I got to go to the hospital today, because I couldn't drink liquids for two days. I just kept throwing 'em up. I get there, get plugged in to an IV so I can get saline and anti-nauseants, and we figure out I'm allergic to the iron supplements I'm taking. It's a brand I've never taken before, so I guess I'll go back to my old, more expensive brand. I'm pretty miffed that I was vomiting for two days because of a bloody supplement.

Anyway, two hours and two litres of saline later, I'm back home nommin' on seven-grain bread, only vomited once since and that was mostly carsickness (momma drove me, gotta love moms! She also bought me ginger-ale and gatorade <3).

I procrastinated some bonus work too long and now I don't have nearly enough time to even get it completed to sub-par standards v.v

When I was cleaning my room last time, I tossed a packet of Uncle Bens microwave rice into the kitchen, intending to put it into my pantry. It sort of got shoved half under the side of the fridge (that is as far as it could go) and I kept forgetting to pick it up.

Last night on my way through the kitchen, I noticed a pot cooking on the stove. I was curious, so I looked inside (making sure my roommates were not burning their food as they sometimes do). Curiously, it was broccoli & cheese flavored Uncle Bens rice... the same type as the one I kept forgetting on the floor. I looked by the fridge and my packet was gone. I checked in my pantry to make sure I didn't have one there. I only had one of that flavor and it wasn't in there, so that could only mean that the rice on the stove was mine.

Later on, the rice was finished and most of it had been taken out of the pot and the pot was left on the stove. I put a note on the whiteboard that said "Did someone move my rice from the floor by the fridge?" and then a bit later I came out again and the pot was mysteriously gone from the kitchen completely. I looked in the garbage can and the empty packet was folded up and partially hidden under some things. That is odd, since usually my roommates just chuck things on top. They don't even make an effort to push down the things that are already in there to make room for more. So that means there was an attempt to hide the evidence.

I took out the packet and put it on the counter near the whiteboard. I went out just now (they are at work now) and the girl wrote on the board "You seriously went into the garbage to get the wrapper? I bought that rice at the dollar store!"

... Ok, so she has NEVER had Uncle Bens rice at this house before, there are no other packets in her cupboard (who buys only one rice at a dollar store?), and the only broccoli/cheese rice I have is mysteriously missing... yet this packet was hers? I call bullshit. If she was seriously hungry enough to steal the rice (and I know she has money... she makes a little more than twice what I do in a month) I wouldn't have cared since it only cost me $1.25, but it is the lying that pisses me off. She could have just said "Oh, sorry I didn't realize it was yours because it wasn't in your cupboard. I will get you a new one!" and it would have been fine.

How can I trust someone that steals from me and lies to me about it when I obviously know the truth?

Tools who don't know how to react to a wasp. Pro-tip, idiot: It's not "swat at it and cower", ignore the buzz-bug and it'll ignore you. It's harmless until you fuck with it. It's not harmless when you do fuck with it; Chances are, in a crowd, you won't be the one stung, except maybe by some chastisement from your fellow irritated human beings. No love.

@Zenia - Arwhh... Who would steal $1.25 of rice? .w.
That's pretty redundant.. if someone were to steal something, and lie about it, wouldn't they take a slice of cake or dessert or something of the likes? .w. -steals a penny- Bwahaha~! >:3

But anyways, my ... acquaintance (or enemy...)... has recently taken to trying to best me at EVERYTHING, then infer that she's better than me... oh yeah, she likes to stab me... with a sharp pencil/pen.. I have scars on my arm... Then, when she gets a horrible mark, and KNOWS it, she goes and finds ANY EXCUSE (when peer-marking.. she always gets my paper...) to make me lose marks v.v
She's costing me a B in English... v.v

some ass wipe pizza guy rear ended me last night. I've been on the phone with ICBC all morning, and have missed two important appointments because of it.

To look on the bright side ... you can get some things fixed on the car???
Are you alright?

Look at it another way.  You left the package of rice on the floor long enough that it would seem to be abandoned.
So it was fair game for your roommate to pick it up, cook and eat it -- especially after you carped about her leaving the kitchen so messy a week or two ago.  Then by confronting her about it, you put her into defensive mode, where to admit what she did would be losing face to you.  So she lied to get out of the situation of being cornered which you put her in.

What I see here is a personality type conflict, not something you should lose all trust in your roommate over.
Maybe next time you go shopping, buy an extra packet of rice for your roommate and give it to her, since she seems to like it so much?

Friggin' doctors that refuse to listen when you try to talk to them and just talk over you repeatedly because THEY KNOW BETTER about your health than you do.
Yes, I know my blood pressure's high, I know I need to lose some more weight, but here's some things you need NO NEED TO TALK THE DOCTOR KNOWS BEST HERE'S YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS oh the last doctor suggested changing your dosage if the BP stayed up well okay we can do that BUT I STILL KNOW BEST.

This reminds me of the time that one our tenants moved out of the house without weeks notice, on top of that she stole $2400 of rent money, and made it seem that I took and spent the rent money.....

My complaint:
I went to party last night, and I was challenged to a dance off, during some my moves I pulled a muscle near my "private" area. It hurts so much DX
It's not yer content, it's how you pitch it too people

lol It was on the floor for two days and half under the fridge by my bedroom door (not even near where they usually go). Hardly long enough to be considered abandoned. And you think that not only is it ok that she took it (if it is not yours, you are not allowed to eat it) but that I should actually buy her more of it? That is ridiculous.

There wasnt any damage to the car; just a couple of scratches on the bumper, all superficial, which I'm grateful for. Plus I already got the window fixed which was my biggest concern with it anyhow. I've got a bit of whiplash though. The boys both appear to be fine.

Zenia, I think the point Spuug was trying to make was instead of harbouring all this ill will over every little thing your room mates do, maybe try a peace offering. And I would consider something left for two days under the fridge as abandoned. Though if called out on it I probably wouldn't have lied. Anyway, you're probably scaring them/intimidating them, which is probably why they lied.
