Yeowza.. Suddenly feeling very relieved that I chose to use Corona SDK for iPhone game programming rather than Unity, and that I work with a 2D sprite engine atm rather than the madness and headaches that come with 3D graphics.. c.c

The issue wasn't Unity itself this time around so much as it was an incompetent (former) environment artist. Leftover messes from a fellow who was dismissed a few months back.

Chest cold came back with avengeance today, determined to make me cough my throat out. Left work surprisingly early because of it, well more like on time. Then I realized it was a sunny day this morning so my trusty rain coat AND umbrella were at home. At least the walk in the rain was only 10 minutes ...

I've had tinnitus (constant ringing of the ear) since I was a little kid. When I was young, I hated it. Now, I love it and hope it doesn't go away.

Let me explain why. I find the ringing to have a very calming effect on me and it helps me to find my centre. What I do is sit somewhere quiet, and focus on the ringing. I can make it raise and lower pitch, quieter and louder. When I was young I found it a very effective form of meditation.

And the thing is that no matter where I go in life, no matter where I am, I'll always have the ringing to return to. That thought gives me a level of comfort.

Well...to get back on topic, there is a breakout of "lumps" here in Whistler,
the school provided shots for us, so I got one, but the area where they gave
