bloodredruby

Unfortunately, my story is incredibly bland. Ruby is the name that I've been using for over a decade; I chose it way back then because it just...fit.
I live in a world of fantasy.

Senti

Basically I started out with something really long- SentimentalSerpent.
I liked the word sentimental, plus it's a word that could be used to help describe me. P: And I love all things reptile, so, serpent.
Often that name would be too long so I would just go with 'Sentimental', and friends would just shorten it to Senti.

Which brings me to another point-
When I originally started USING the name I looked it up and found that in some kinda indian language it could be translated into a certain.... intimate body part (tee-hee) and I'd also heard that in another language it meant 'getting high' or something like that.
EITHER WAY, I didn't really care. Lol.
However if you look it up NOW, I guess apparently some people actually use the word/it's defined as being an actual word that's short for sentimental.
Which.... I dunno, I kinda hope it doesn't really catch on- and I feel that whoever put it up on UD (where it first showed up) did it 'cause of me.

I like it anyway- feels kinda original to meeee and other people seemed to like it too so it stuck with me. (:

Victoria furs do exist but you can't hold a conversation like an adult and ontop of that you are a drama queen so no one wants to hang out with you.

Morrogh TDO

My name that was literally in print in front of me, but when seeing it, something just kinda clicked in my head, like it was MY name. It kinda seemed different to me. Not some generic Japanese sounding name (no offense to you guys ^^;) but it didn't sound bland either. As for the last name (Drachen) i didn't even know it was the German word for, what else, dragon, but it was something that was kinda floating in my head. And being of a German bloodline, it just kinda...fit.

RooCyrana

my fursona started out as elias fuzzybottom, just a cute name i thought of one day, it sounded like some bookworm mixed with a little cute and cuddlyness so i used it for a while, but after i got a nickname from my current gf (roo) i decided to take her last name and add it to that for my fursona instead, i plan to use elias fuzzybottom again but i have yet to think of an alternate fursona to attach the name to

Aeturnus

I guess this will be a good time to mention my character's history, which does involve his name.

I created my character late Feb/early March of 2008 and gave him the name Vorp. I'll give you one guess on where I came up with that. A couple of months later I grew a strong dislike towards the other community I'm part of, and I also wasn't really planning on becoming to active in the fandom, so I pushed my character to the side with no plans of ever bringing him back. That's also about the same time I started to check out Doom Metal bands.

Thanks to North encouraging me to go, I attended Rainfurrest '08, and after the con I decided to bring back my character but with a different name. By then I became a huge fan of Doom Metal, and I decided to base my name off of a band I like. One problem: most of them didn't really connect. Sometime later I watched the DVD release by Solitude Aeturnus called Hour of Despair, and when I heard them say their name, something clicked and that's when I decided to name my character 'Aeturnus.'

Kyroo

Mine's nice and simple:

Boomer= Slang for male kangaroo
Flyer = Slang for female kangaroo

I'm a boy, so I'm a Boomer

I tried to be more creative, but I never could come up with something I thought was especially great. I may change it some day, but who knows.

Amylith

XD my original online name was Amaya and amylith kinda popped up from it somehow xD I don't even remember how exactly so yeah  :-X

Nhyra

Insipiration for my fursona name Nhyra (pronounce Nee-rah) came from the Guardians of Ga'hoole (sort of).

There is a character in the series called Nyra (pronounced Ny-rah). I liked it the way it sounded, and as I was playing around with it I decided to change the spelling and pronounciation and I ended up creating a different version of the name altogether.

I didn't have a name for my fursona until then, nothing else fit me quite right.

Akonite

Akonite used to be my IRC login name. A long time ago. Before MSN and such. LOL
Really spelled Aconite, I got it from the dictionary. Its a flower with poisonous roots. Changed the C to a K because thats what my real name starts with. The end. :-D

Athkore

ScaredSacred

I just thought it was neat "Scared" and "Sacred" used the same letters.
Great Wall Of Prophecy, reveal to us God's will, that we may blindly obey.

Then do them.

BrokenWingedBat

I like bats, I've always wanted wings, I've had a lot of health issues, therefore my wings are broken.

Violet

It's my real name spelled wrong... :P

ravewoif

I got the nickname Dexter from a youth worker because at the time Dexter was my farovite tv show so he joke around that I was going to grow up to be just like him, so he called me Dex all the time. Though now that I think about it that's really really creepy that some one, a youth worker of all people, thought that I was going to grow up to be a sociopatic serial killer with a nack for playing lady justice  :o
I've always been told to never look a life behind a window to go outside and join the world, but what about the world behind that window makes the outside so much better?

Kenin Wardell

Mine is from Second Life for when I made my ass ;D took two random first names that were available because you need a first and a last name at the time and went for something that sounded good.

So if you want to find me on Second Life you know my name!  :-3
