My legs haven't fallen off yet, despite trooping around for a solid three hours at work. I may finally be back in shape again. Though my knees are attempting to convince me that they are on fire right now.

Two-fer!

Breakfast? Hashbrown cut spuds, some minced shallot, a seasoning dash of garlic, marjoram, onion stock, black pepper and Himalayan salt, some sauteed mushroom segments, and a light grated coating of havarti over the works. Good homemade kingly food. Purr.

Recent tinkering and such with my RV revealed that not only does it have a performance carburetor but also a performance intake manifold. Looks like I got the freaking rat rod of RVs

That explains why it pigs the gas, but also how a 10,000lb behemoth like that was actually keeping pace with and even beating some people off of stop lights. :birdy:

This sammich is sooooo tasty!

Fresh, homemade mushroom soup. Warm :3

Bought a Tassimo. Christened it by running an espresso cartridge  into a cup laden with Trader Vic's macadamia nut liqueur, Irish cream, and Godiva chocolate liqueur. It's very good. And I'm slightly flush right now. But gooood.

Yay for a "new" computer that can run all the games I own that I couldn't before!  :D

Got the drink I like from Starbucks. It is that passionfruit/lemonade/tea one. This is only the third time I have had anything from Starbucks... so it is a good thing the barrista knew what I meant when I said "that one... it is pink and like a juice or something?" and then I didn't know what they called their sizes. I wanted a medium and they call it a grande or something? That is confusing, 'cause when someone says 'grande,' I think of something huge.

Ooh and I am having a hard time choosing between two things for supper tonight...
- Baked salmon with crispy fries, or
- Pan seared duck breast, garlic/parm risotto and (duck fat) sauteed mushrooms

I'm in favour of anything cooked in duck fat. As long as you use anything but white mushrooms this sounds tasty.

Happy thing - I'm not as completely broke as I thought! Minor short-term financial security \o/

heh White mushrooms were on sale, so that is what I got. What mushrooms would you recommend? I like chantarelles... but I haven't had them in ages. When I was younger, my parents and I would go off into the forest and collect them ourselves. :P
