Damn, this concept of kitchen messiness is infectious.
Several weeks ago, after the huge cleanup in the kitchen, my roommates and I decided to write up a "Terms-and-Conditions" sort of announcement. TL;DR-wise, it's "If you get shit in the kitchen, you clean it up.". It seems as if this agreement of sorts hasn't been kept up as the kitchen counter is littered with dirty cutlery knives lying haphazardly around (enjoy your new cheese-laced laceration!), plates and used frying pans.

I live in a house with SEVERAL other people, and while they do the dishes fine, they leave meat on teh counters (EW and so not FS) the fridge stinks, and they NEVER ever EVER wipe any of teh counters or surfaces down. I live in fear of salmonella... so I eat out most of teh time 3:

I want to return this slice of Canada. It's defective; Way too hot, and the temperature controls are out of whack with the time controls.

Seriously, what business does it have being so bloody hot in my bedroom that I can't sleep completely bare-ass naked thanks to the heat, with the windows wide open and even the door open for further airflow and a fan going?

heh The day we moved in I wrote up a 'kitchen guidelines' sheet. They both were like "That is a great idea!" and signed it... then NEVER followed the guidelines.

ALSO! If people keep setting the fire alarm off this late at night I'm going to lose my mind!

!!!IF YOU SET THE ELEMENT ON FIRE TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW THERE'S SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG!!! D:

My tenants were playing my WII early this morning, while leaving a mess of piles of games and they left it on since then....I HATE cleaning up after these people!!!

Being stuck in a mundane routine which feasibly is possible to break but would be risky to do, especially for someone who is unmotivated and depressed.

I dislocated my shoulder again...

My doctor told me the mental illness I was diagnosed with back in December "isn't real", that I'm "making everything up", and that she won't back me up in applying for disability.

Hopefully, since I'm still technically enrolled, I can talk to the doctor at Langara and see if she'll back me up.

3: and, worst comes to worst, I guess I'll just waste the rest of my life savings on therapy and move back in with my mom.

One of my roommates has woken me up two nights in a row because she (I think it is the girl roommate) has decided to cook at 3am. If she could be quiet about it, I wouldn't care... but she clinks, rattles, squeaky doors, thumps, etc and it wakes me up. My bedroom door opens right up to the kitchen. The previous tenants put the door up to make the formal dining room into a bedroom, and that is my bedroom... the door doesn't do anything to muffle sounds so I hear everything.

The last house I lived at, my roommate there banned me from cooking after 10pm, and because I like to  make people happy, I complied. Heck, even here when I know my roommates are sleeping, I stay quiet. They party until 5am and keep me awake and then are sleeping at 11am? I won't vacuum like I want in the morning until I hear them get up, because I am nice like that.

my upstairs neighbour seems to be an extrovert, which I am not. I like socializing and everything, but the only people I really talk to EVERY day, is my family, and I don't know how to ask her to back off without being rude. I like her well enough, and it's fun to get out every so often and do something, but for me, "every so often" is like, once a week, maybe. For her it's... i dunno, every day? Every other day? Case in point, we went to the pool yesterday, and she's already making plans to go again together on Monday. I don't think I can do it. And she TALKS. All the time. She interrupts me, and she's one of those people who always has to one-up you. And she keeps offering to babysit, but I don't like the way she handles children. The more I see her interact with my own children specifically, the more i dislike it. Especially with the little one. And her constantly saying "I have a 2 year old, I know what I'm doing" isn't any comfort, because i've met her two year old. But I have no idea how to tell her to back off without offending her. And she lives above me, so if I did offend her she could EASILY make the next few months we're living here hell. But it's to the point now where we're considering moving just to get away. X_x

And, i'm cranky. >:\
