Rino, do you think it would be possible to make your point without disrespecting other members of the board please?

If I recall correctly, that was a rule that you yourself typed up, and still applies.

no i do it because he also disrespects me as well on these forums, he has since forever.

anyways remove me from forums and it will go down no joke, i shit you not.

also the rules dont ever apply because everyone else has already broken them :)

Edit:

i have seen PORN on this forums, Also people using innapropriate language all over, people starting a crapton of drama, people just being stupid, and to end it all... people who post Dirty Videos, as this forums doesnt even have an AGE CONSENT FORM so it is right now illegal until that is put in place due to younger audiences.

Duh! i rest my case!

Edit Edit: Yes im going insane!

Threats against the board won't be tolerated at all. OvanTwilight, you are banned.

Ratt:

Let me know if you would like any help with the above mentioned.  I think I'll let others post more suggestions before I post here again.

EDIT: And thanks for killing his full page signiture.  Wow.

RainRat

Well, we can't have anything that a minor would be banned from seeing without parental consent. The odd use of "ass" or "shit" etc. doesn't make it inappropriate, as long as you are being civil.

As for videos, Youtube monitors for anything that would be inappropriate for minors, so any video from Youtube can be whitelisted.

Please message me or another mod if you see anything that minors would be banned from seeing.

Looking at the forum sigs, I've noticed that VFur is now on Twitter. That amazes me, since hardly anyone uses the VFur Yahoo Mailing Lists anymore, although only a few people use it nowadays since most of us have migrated over to these forums... Maybe it's time I retired my old email address as well, seeing I still have it, and still using it since 2001.
I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no way paper can beat rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around rock, leaving it immobile? Why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody; a rock would tear it up in two seconds. When I play Rock-Paper-Scissors, I always choose rock. Then, when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper, I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist, and say, "Oh sorry, I thought paper would protect you."

I've been running the vfur twitter since midsummer last year, coran by RainRat and Carthage. It's just been infrequently updated cause I've been busy.

You don't say...

It's an interesting idea to get VFur back up and running again, though the mailing lists are seemingly beginning to die out slowly, since Facebook, Twitter and forums have pretty much taken over the internet. Incidentally, you might even say that VFur is where I was inspired to obtain the name "VancouFUR" and implement it as a fur convention. By the way, I'm still working on shaping the forums, and a date has already been set in stone. And while I'm very well aware that it is a major responsibility and that I should, in fact, start small, I have been taking those two pieces of advice to heart, I'm also hoping to do everything in my power to ensure that Vancouver is more well-known than just being the host city for the 2010 Winter Olympics. I've got quite a few people who are doing their share of assisting, and I truly thank them for that.

Mikau, with all due respect...  I don't think you made the best of choice for your co-chair.  Have a look at what he's done here, in this topic, and its sister.

Is that what you want representing the convention?

I can't speak for others, but I can say that I wouldn't go anywhere near a convention run by Dyllan the Frequent Namechanger.

Regarding vfur, there are many furs that refuse to move from the mailing list to the forums.  Every time there is a furmeet, and the information does not get forwarded to the mailing list, many furs get angry, irate, because they want their notifications as to furmeets.  I'm almost willing to bet that they do not wish to subscribe to Twitter either.

Trapa recently purchased a vfur domain, and he has plans for it, which I will need to get details of before I can state what they are...

Finally, if you wish to continue with the topic of your forums and con, I would suggest you create a topic, as this one is intended for suggestions to improve the bcfurries.com forum.

Yeah, @vfur isn't followed too much. But, I figure it's nice to have alternate ways of getting the message out, cause I know I don't like having to visit the forums to get information.

I agree with Felix on this subject.  Reno abused his administrative position on numerous occasions.  In a few cases, strictly out of spite.  Heck! I was banned from this very Forum.  All because, he and I had a heated disagreement over MSN.
Now think.  Mikau, whats to say he won't do something like that to you?  Should you two not see eye to eye.

~Mikau, should you manage to put together this "Vancoufur" convention.  Be sure to invest as much as Reno.   Balance the field of expenditure.   And co-sign any building rentals.

Don't give him a chance to hold something over your head.

I have moved my post to that given thread.  sorry.  You are right.  This thread is hardly the place for any of that.  ^__^;

Post on the topic I posted, Haloth. ;) This is, after all, for board suggestions, not a heated discussion about Rino.

Here's a board suggestion.
Have something like a "Hall of Shame" topic where any thread can be relegated to that has, for instance, outlived its usefulness and has since descended into drama, or was totally puerile to begin with.
