Kitten

Saw it........Amazing piece of work!

the details of the animation are superb, and the story was awesome

I really enjoyed it!(tho I did start to cry at the end of the movie)

I was with Kitten and a few others when I saw it. Turned out to be short but well worth it. I highly suggest it.

edit: it's not a Tim Burton movie, he's just one of the producers

ok, I'm going to have to disagree with the others here.
the only good thing about the movie was the animation and visual effects
the story made no sense, the modeling was student reel level and the cliches...my god the cliches!

one of the big revelation scenes is that the 9 each have 1/9th of the scientists soul in them which changes absolutely nothing, they're still trying to kill the big bad robot!

the scientist leaves a holographic video box for 9 to discover with a message for him and the other 8 but he created the others AGES before 9... why the hell didn't he just tell them? and why weren't they living with him? it's like he created them and threw them out to fight for themselves in the middle of the human/robot war the second they're awake.

and that scientist is a complete dick... oh I made a robot that has no soul, it's super smart but it really wants a soul... I know, I'll give it to these tiny puppets, hahah good luck with that you tiny people!

oh and... 5 of the 9 die at the end and go to heaven... how do 5/9ths of a soul go to bloody heaven?

that tiny machine's function was to transfer souls, why couldnt they just put them back into the puppets instead of killing their friends?

and horrible cliches like "they're free now" and "TAKE OFF YOUR CAPE!" "NO!" why didn't he want to take off his cape? made no sense.

I'm planning to see it, possibly next weekend, with a couple of my WoW guildies.

I found the movie was alright, but the ending ruined it for me.  It didn't answer many questions and they could have gone into the other character's quirks a bit more.  6's key, 1's cape, etc...  Actually in one of the deleted scenes, 1 takes off his cape without hesitating because it was JUST a piece of cloth and no big deal.
