My name is Cass, my 'sona is a cougar, and I've been a furry since around 2011.

Having moved to British Columbia recently, I'm new to more than just this forum.
IFPL hasn't been of much use to me here, and I don't feel comfortable enough to post an ad on Pounced, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. I'm just hoping to make a friend or two. :3

Perhaps. I haven't been to a con before, but it's definitely something I'd like to do someday. It mostly comes down to money. But once I find work, that shouldn't be a problem. :3

Hiya Cass! It is a pleasure to meet and see another feline around here, especially a cougar! The cubs are just absolutely gorgeous too.

Oh and to answer your question, I believe that  :birdy: <--- dancing little thing over here is some sort of budgie, who may or may not be sick. Even his beak is green! He should go to a vet! D:

I don't think I've ever been likened to a Khajiit, but I do see the resemblance. They seem more akin to anthro bobcats than cougars; on account of the longer cheek-fur, and pointed ears. That said, I've never played as any race other than a Khajiit, in Skyrim, because it was the closest I could get to a playable anthro cougar, outside of Second Life anyway. And I never really got into SL, so I played a ton of Skyrim instead.

Khajiit are pretty much the only race worth playing on Skyrim; though I tried an Anubis mod once, it was awful.  Anyways welcome to all this BC Fuzziness!  Also Salmon Arm is beautiful.... although that unique handshake your tourism board came up with was just... awful.... ;D

Oh yeah? I guess every town has its own brand of weirdness.
I've only been here a month, so I haven't really payed the tourism board much attention. My main focus has been memorizing the layout of the town, as to not get lost, and finding work.

There's also a pretty cool-looking canine mod, that a friend recently showed me. Dunno if that's the same one you're referring too, but he has his character looking like a pretty convincing husky.

That is 100% not the mod I was referring too. I'd demand; then plead to know what mod this is but.... my hard-drive just died last week and is gonna stay that way till the new year.

And yeah I'm originally from the East Kootenays so I know all about small town weirdness
