Psycho-Pass. What an amazing anime.

A society that is run by a government that frequently analyses its peoples mental states and personality for the purpose of maintaining a civil society. Where stress and malice are highly policed and punishable. The story follows a government team of investigators, deemed to unstable for society, to hunt down criminals and those that lose mental stability.

I started the series a year ago, got to episode 4. It seemed very generic, so I stopped. Recently watched it again to see more of the awesome technology in the show. Then I became to realize the characters where amazingly written. The crimes began to connect and grow into something much greater then simple crimes of passion. As these investigators are analyzing situations, they're smart and think fast. Usually figuring out plots on the spot, keeping the story flowing. It all builds up in a thrill ride of criminal master minds, corruption, human rights, and brutal action.

There is some gore, but tastefully used in moderation. The English dub is very well done. As well, nicely packed into 22 episodes for the season.

Go watch it. I highly recommend it.
