At the end of the world, I will be one of the last to finally take notice of crumbling rock and smoldering ruins, but I'll figure it out and run before I burn. So here I is, posting my introduction after all of you. Coyote Standard Time prevails, yet again.

My identity has always been fluid, so I could be a fur who isn't, or who doesn't think of himself as a fur. Since 1996, I have transitioned through several species, starting with a Toad; followed by a Sphinx Moth, in 1998; Dragonfly, in 2001; Coyote, in 2006; Leaf-Nosed Bat, in 2007; and African Wild Dog, in 2008. When I first emerged onto the furry scene, in March of 2006, one of my exbfs had introduced me to the Yiffstar MUCK: Yimu Island (now defunct). There, I adopted the Coyote to represent myself as I didn't feel that I could adequately interact with others in a primarily sexual RP environment as an insect. Yotie was my first MUCK character, followed by Atnarko (my teenage bat - also my Second Life fursona), and then Lycaon (an unimaginative name, borrowed from the African Wild Dog's Genus name). When I discovered VAF, in November of 2006, Aphinity, SilverMink, and Shogin pointed me to VFUR, which then lead me to attending my first fur meet, the following month. Within the local community, I primarily identify myself as Yotie, but I periodically shift through one of my other identities whenever my moods dictate a change.

The Toad is long gone, likely still buried in dust on the BBS where I left him.

On Second Life, I go by Atnarko Nastula, and my personal group is called Octopus Pancake Sauce (weird by design - if I picked a common name, I'd forget it because my mind is too scattered for normal words to stick).

For me, my Moth & Dragonfly don't equate to fursonae - they're shield crests. In late 2008, I adapted further onto that theme, and made them Therianthropic emblems, but unlike many Therians, I don't believe that I am either of those creatures, nor do I believe, nor think of myself as any animal (an assertion for which I have already been accused as being an impostor in the furry fandom). As my identity has yet to be nailed down for certainty, all I can say is that in this world, I exist, but am nothing in particular, other than what my biogolem designates. So until I figure myself out, one way or another, just call me Yotie and think of me as a Coyote, to save yourselves from confusion. I do enough stumbling around and howling in the dark to make this a suitable species.

Why am I here? Because I have spent my life wandering like a gypsy, and this is the one niche in which I don't feel like I am completely alien.

Its really good to see you have finally joined the forums Yotie. You will always be Yotie to me by the way. Hope you don't mind. Quite the history you have too. I wish I could remember my history like that.

Hey there, long time no chat.

Yeah, I'm around, just don't get out as much as I used to. I have a biz that zaps a lot of my time, and whatever time I have free, I'm slouched in front of my computer blowing things out of the imaginary sky.

I want to do something random soon, before the warmth fades to dreary rain and snow.. like the Grouse Mountain Ziplines.
