I wanna join Artist's Alley!

Hi everyone,

I am totally new to this kind of thing so I was wondering if some people who had some exp could help me out with a little bit of advice.

I have been wanting to be a vendor or an artist at a con for many many years but never had the chance of the funds to do so. I think that next year I may be able to do it at Vancoufur!
However I see a registration thing and that you need to wait for a table (first come first serve type thing) but thats all that I know D:

I have some questions
How does it work? (how much? :x )
What do you bring?
Can you sell a few additional items or is that for vendors only?
Do people bring their ref's or are you required to bring a laptop (providing there is WiFi in the con)

I've always wanted to give this a try, I would love any info or advice you could offer, even if you are not an artist, really just anything would be great!

Hey Sammacha, you might want to post in the Vancoufur section. Might be a little more visible to those organizing the con. Either that or have a friendly neighbourhood mod nudge it over there.

O ok thanks, I didnt know if should go there because it not specifically about vancoufur, but artist alley in all cons in general.

For example, Anime evolution and Anime  North have artists alley.
I'd be interested in hearing about how it all works! But thank you, I will try to have someone  move it over.
