Decided to leave lurking mode briefly to say hi to everybody! *tailwave*

I've been dropping into a handful of fur meets, so I've already met a few of you. Also went to Rainfurrest '08 and am going to '09 as well!

For those who don't know me, here are some tidbits:
I've been living in Burnaby for about a year now after taking a job as a game programmer in downtown Vancouver. I have a B.Sc in Computer Science from Vancouver Island University, where I lived prior. I'm currently out of work after my company went belly-up, but looking! I'm also toying with the ipod touch and the programming there of.

I also like to play the piano, work out and play games! Console games, pc games, traditional card games, collectable card games, board games, and table top games. The more the merrier.
And I like to go on hikes n' stuff sometimes too. I'm also into health/nutrition and bodybuilding, although I don't have much to show for it in the area of muscles... I blame my genes and lack of 'roids! :p

Oh I also tend to be kinda quiet and observant in social situations most of the time. So if you see me standing in a corner somewhere not doing/saying anything, it doesn't mean I'm not having a good time ^.^ Oh, and feel free to say hello too!

My fursona is a Charmander. Sometimes anthro, sometimes not.. I don't have a badge pic yet so I just use stock images from the net ^_^  I've been a closet member of the fandom since I was like 13, frequenting MUCKs like SPR, Taps, FurryMUCK and boards of various kinds, but wasn't until last year that I started going to events in person.

So ya, thats me in a nutshell. Look forward to getting to know more of you over the coming months. :)
