"Fox Gas" Gas station?

Drove by this gas station the other day on Marine Dr in Burnaby (Google maps tells me the address is 5894 Marine Drive). Anyway, the place used to be called "Cana Fuel" but now its "Fox Gas". Didn't get a picture, but I just thought it was interesting, especially the anthro mascot. ‎Anyone else seen this?

Been there actually. Its really old school and awesome. Have to lift a latch to pump gas (its not automated) and the people there are kind of intimidating XD But neat!

I've stopped there before. Old school gas stations are hard to come by these days. I'd love to see the "Fox Gas" logo and fox. Can't find anything online, so it must be a local independent thing. Maybe owned by a furry? I grabbed this shot from Google Maps.

Yeah, I tried to snap a picture while driving by, but didn't have enough time. I tried looking on google earth too, and goggling it, but nothing. I was thinking the same thing about it being possibly owned by a furry.

Well of course, but I simply meant that you managed to get that up pretty quick, all things considered. A high-res picture would be sweet. I wonder if anyone on here knows the artist? It's very anthropomorphic, that fox. The mystery continues.

I thought "Fox" fit the theme with Husky, and of course Esso, but it seems definitely more than just a feral image!

When my bike gets repaired, I'd love to ride on down there and snap a shot and have a chat if someone working there knows for you guys.
