Girls With Swords: A new webseries

For a little over a year now, I've had a hand in developing a fantasy webseries called Girls with Swords.
We had filmed an entire episode hoping to enter it in a contest called Make My Series to win $10K. Due to the ambitious special effects, only half the video was finished in time and it wasn't the best half, in my opinion.
We lost that contest by 0.2 points, beating out some 70 others submissions if I recall correctly.
Recently we released the full pilot episode and today we've launched our kickstarter.

The pilot has it's flaws, mostly due complications with sound in the tiny green screen studio we were using. If you've seen any other of our effects-heavy videos (http://www.youtube.com/user/Megasteakman) you'll know what we're capable of and how this could look given the proper attention, which is why we are doing this Kickstarter!

Please watch and spread it around if you like what you see. I don't expect everybody to be able to donate, but the more buzz created around it, the more likely we will reach our goals.

Oh, and you get to see me dressed as a cat-girl... Yeah. I believe all costumers should have to wear, on camera, the outfits they design for members of the opposite gender. It's a lesson in humility, lemmie tells ya'.... A Drafty, drafty lesson.

I almost forgot. We already got a $5000 grant from Telus Storyhive. But, if we reach our kickstarter goals, we might actually be able to make.... 5 episodes? Yeah. This stuff isn't cheap.
