Photography courses anywhere in Surrey/Vancouver/nearby?

It has been suggested that I take some photography courses before looking into buying a new camera so I'll have some idea of the features I want in one.
Does anybody know of any somewhere near Surrey/Delta/New West area?
(mostly accessibly to transit, as I still don't have a driver's license yet, nor a car)

check your local community center or high school (night classes)   they are reasonably cheap and give good lessons for beginners and up.

I might be able to help you pick out a camera. I used to work for Nikon so I know a thing or two about them. I've been shopping around for a new one myself, though I'm not eyeing anything terribly new. Feel free to ask me any questions, though I'm more on the technical side of things than the actual 'Good Photography' side.

Hmm... I know about the photography courses at Focal Point, where I took beginner and intermediate, and Langara, but neither of those are really in that area.
