Ok, I've really put this off for too long, and I'm giving myself an ultimatum on this, but Not sure where to really start.  Anyone have any advice of driving schools, or places to go to learn?  I do not have access to parents with a vehicle unfortunately, so I'll need another option.  This is from start to finish as well, knowing/having nothing, to having a full license.

Thank you.

- Edit -

Alright so I've taken some in class lessons, and just had my first in car lesson with Young Drivers.  I've had a little bit of driving help while I was up for the holidays with my parents, but the main issue I have here is I don't have family to learn to drive with in Vancouver.  I know it's a lot to ask, but I want to put forward a request if possible if someone would allow me some time to practice driving in their car.  I'm taking professional training on this as well, so I'm not entirely clueless, but anything would help, back roads, parking lots, and I don't mind chipping in or paying entirely for gas.

Seeming as I have an L, I need someone over 25, and their full License.

I'd suggest Young drivers. can be expensive but i can tell ya it was well worth it. They will train you from L, through N, all the way to your full drivers license test.

That all depends on where in BC you live :P I live in surrey langley area. DO NOT GO FOR TRAINING IN EITHER AREA! Langley will fail you the first time you go for your N or L. of the 5 people i know, they were all given illegitimate reasons for failure. Abby is questionable. Though overall i recommend Young Drivers of Canada.

good thing to remember is to not care what others on the road may do or say about your driving. You are learning, and they are generally assholes. Trust me im a delivery driver.. lol I see how people drive. GOOD LUCK!

yea where about in bc are ya, i heard you can only take the test in your area now, been on the go karts lately? thats good practice to start if you dont have a car. I never took lessons personally, you could say I took to driving like a fish to water. they sure do help in this day and age of the N and L though.

A little belated, but I learned at Bestway and they were good. They're in the Lougheed/Brunette area.

Not sure if you have an L or an N, however i believe the rule for either of those licenses still stands that you are supposed to have someone over the age of 25 with a full and valid license to be in the car with you while you are driving. *least that is what it was the last i checked* As i am not 25 i cannot help you much. Sorry dude! Hope you find someone!

Fazar

Correct.  I have an L, so I need someone over 25 with their full License.  Also that's ok Temrin, I understand, and appreciate it though :)

Interested in an update, have you been able to perform a few hours of practice? I'd suggest ICBC for driving school information, though you may have tapped into this.
Considering to possible acqquire a car within the months to come, this is an option to consider. Though would have to look into it more closely.
I just remember too well the challenge it was to acquire a license in the day. Yet finding the support and available drivers with their car at that time was outstanding (and a blessing).
