Something you may find interesting ( inspired by a topic lope brought up )

An interesting little topic i just thought id put out there for anyone who hasnt seen this yet. Topic inspired by lope's topic over on the art board about government censorship and prosecution of rights and freedoms (related to art).

This "interesting"  development was brought to my attention by Chris Sawyer and I'm passing it along to all of you here. The USA's "Protect Act" could very well be the instrument that could put any artist who draws adult material in jeopardy.  Is this the beginning of the end of freedom of expression for artists who draw anime or furry? Have a look at the article below and see what you think... to me its outrageous.

then again ... little case studies like this one http://www.endofamericamovie.com/ always make me wonder just what things may be coming too some day..  check it out for those that are interested. its a case study that compares nazi germany to the usa current administration. .... no its not what you think.. give it a chance. its very interesting case study talks about the 10 stages of " a closing society" basically all the stuff that happened before the nazis went mad and tried to take over the world , and how they managed to twist their own people, channel them to turn them against each other and then on the rest of the world.  and each point is followed by a case study of events in the usa which bear a erie resemblance to these stages. its a very informative little movie, i think everyone should be aware of and is most certainly not a another conspearicy theory

Lunar, I totally agree with the opinion that the American Government is starting to run things like the Nazi's did before WWII. I just want to point out that it was always Hitler's intention to rule the world, but that intention was not revealed until after his death and the camps were found.

Watching that trailer (trailer only because I can't buy the movie right now) made me wonder if the same things are starting to happen in Canada. I would actually enjoy watching this movie, it makes you really question Bush's actions.

I would ask that people do not start a debate over my opinion as that would cause this thread to become a conspiracy thread, and we just don't need one of those. Also it would be off topic.

always carefull to hide my own opinions on things.

already knew that about hitler, but i just thought id show people an interesting video .
im always of the life policy to make everyone view the information and come to their own conclusions, just make sure you dont think, when i post something of interest that im drawing a conclusion in doing so. just posting a link i think people may enjoy .

to Lope and other furry artists:

the 2003 Protect Act, which outlaws cartoons, drawings, sculptures or paintings depicting minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, and which lack "serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value."

I don't think you have much to worry about, unless your art depicts minors engaging in sexual acts, or bestiality.
