A Canadian Tail: Silver Goes West

Hi all!

I'm cheating slightly here, so you'll have to forgive me. I'm actually a UK Fur, but I'm moving to Vancouver in February, and I was hoping I could introduce myself in advance. :)

I'm 26, I'm a programmer by trade, and I'll be working on the UBC campus. I'm into gaming, arcades and laser tag in a big way. I'm also crazy-mad on cartoons for some reason. I love to ski too, and I hear you guys have slightly better slopes there than we have here. ;)

I've been around the furry community for years now, thanks to the various webcomics, but I only last year started attending meets and expanding on it. The people I met have been amazing, and it's really pulled me in. My 'sona is Silvershock, a black rat, and he's more of a reflection of me than an alter-ego. I'm attending Vancoufur this year (at least I think I am - still not been confirmed yet), so that should be a lot of fun.

Oh, actually owns their own system. I just go to the place one trainstop down.

Gods, I wish I could afford that! Nah, I just journey around playing every system I can get my hands on. There's quite a few of them near here, and they're staffed by fanatics, so it's a good place to play.
