Add/Remove Buddies

I've read the FAQ but it doesn't seem to cover this at all. I've gone to the apparent approval screen but don't see anything obvious that says accept/decline request. How do you add/remove a buddy??? I am a very confuzzled fox.

The UX leaves something to be desired.

Add: Go to the person's profile (click on their name) and click "Add to Buddy List" under "Contact Me".

Remove: Go to your own profile (click on "Profile" on the blue bar near the top), click "Edit Buddies" under "Modify Profile" just above the comments section, then click the page icon with the X on it in the far right column.

I think that screen is where you approve buddies too, but wouldn't put money on it.

Does that link work? Should take you to the area where you can approve/edit buddies.

Yeah that's the screen I am confused with. There are no options that say I can add someone just shows who is waiting for approval. I have tried the profile add as well but it says I need to approve the request before I can add them to my list ???

Found it! It's the weird little icon in the column to the right of the MSN icon.
