I can't be the only one here!
My board boots and bindings:

A friend of mine got set up and snapped two pictures of a run we were doing at grouse

I've never been snowboarding. I like tobogganing though, that's kind of like snowboarding in that there is a board, snow, and the general downhill momentum.

I'm super jealous of your gear. I wanted all green/black colours xD

Anyway, this is the board and bindings(folded up) I got for Christmas a couple years ago:

It's not exactly what I wanted it to look like... at all. I actually really hate the way it looks, but it works, so whatever.
I have another one I found a few weeks ago that's much better with only a couple of tiny chips in the edges.

This is me in all my gear on Grouse Mountain:

And finally, this is a video of my first time snowboarding:
Let's Go Snowboarding (Day 1)
You can find a second video of me snowboarding somewhere.
I'm not very good, but I think I did pretty well for someone who had no lessons or experience whatsoever. :P
I plan on going this winter; several times! x3
I've said and done things I regret here, so I just don't do anything instead.

i have never been snowbaording and would like to go one day.  if someone that has been and loves it could check on their favourite hill about a group discount, i would be interested in joining you all for the day.  make a fur event of it.  who knows but some furs might want to do it in suit (?).
after you check out a group package then pick a date far enough in advance so you can collect the money to buy the group discount tix, then it almost guarantees the person to show up because they have already paid.  and if not enough pay in advance then you cancel the group buy and those that show up pay a little more because you don't get the group rate but all still have a great time.
also plan an after boarding get together to socialize and eat, drink and be merry.

most online banking sites offer an email transfer of funds so collecting the funds should not be a major issue.

I know what you mean, it is expensive, Expectantly at the start but it gets easy on the wallet the more you go, which is hard to say about other things, i don't know what the going rates were back then, but I got a seasons pass for 250, lets say it's 50$ to go each time, If i go 5 times I've payed for my pass and the rest of the times i go are free, I could go 5 times in one week, which means i have an entire season of free snowboarding/skiing.

That's true...I'm certified as an occupational medic, so I suppose I could get involved with ski patrol. That's a time commitment I can't really make, these days, though. One of these years, heh. :)

Diggin' the colours on your board there PandaB o:

I'm a skiier. :V I've boarded a few times as well but skiings what I love.

I'd take pics but all of my stuff's at my parent's place. I don't have any shots from the hill on me either.

These are my double planks. Couple years old now but they're still holding up fine. :3

We're so lucky to have so many awesome mountains in our area. My favourites are Sun Peaks, Whistler/Blackcomb and Baker. Cypress is my preferred mountain for the Vancouver-local stuff.

New Gear. Got one day on the hill last season. Hoping to get much more this coming season.

I'm like Tokar ...
If someone would take the time to show me how to do this, I know I would love it!
