I just want to apologize for being such a fool.
I know that I can be childish and immature, and when it happens it usually results in me doing or saying some unpleasant things.
Hopefully you guys can forgive me for being such an idiot, and I really hope we can all still be friends.
I'm sorry for subjecting you all to my pointless rantings, and if anybody isn't "meeting the qualifications for the furry fandom", it's me.
In the future, I'll try to release my anger in healthier ways, rather than making myself look like a self righteous moron.
I'm going to continue to mature, and I hope you guys can help me on the way.
I'm sorry for being so utterly stupid.

I would just keep it in one thread.

I think it'd be a little hypocritical to say anything but, "it's okay". I, for one, was not offended, so much as playing devil's advocate and voicing my own opinion. Don't beat yourself to a pulp over it, just be sure you want to say what you're going to say before you hit 'post'. :)

Fleurette;

I didn't perceive any idiocy, and no offense was taken, so no worries. What you were concerned about, as I had mentioned, happens in all social circles, and (No offense!) to a younger member of a circle, it may seem like a serious problem, or an issue needing a nip in the bud. Your "rantings" were not, and your concern understandable.

tokar

we all do and say stupid things.  sometimes we even put them down in writing (typing) so not to worry.

suggestion ... when you read something and it gets your anger up, write whatever you want to say, BUT, do not hit send.  wait an hour and then read it again.  make your corrections then send it off.  but only after you have read it again and in a calmer mind, you still agree to what it is you wrote.

this goes for anything else you might want to post.  type it out, read it, wait an hour, read it again, then make corrections if required, then make the post.

keep those comments coming.

The best thing to do when you write a post while angry or sad is to wait.

Honestly, just open a new tab go do something else for a while on the web or go watch a movie, just do something else for awhile. When you go back to that post, your head should be clearer and you'll know whether or not you want to post it. :3 It's what I do all of the time.

Also, you're not stupid, everybody gets angry and makes mistakes, it's what makes us human. No hard feelings.

EDIT/ Haha, guess I shouldn't have let it sit so long on my screen to post. XD You said exactly what I did tokar. :P

You have the self-awareness to realize when you've said something foolish and that's respectable. Although if you want to come across as less childish and attention seeking I hope the irony of creating a whole new topic to do it is not lost on you.

I understand the sentiment you expressed in your post even if I don't agree with it. No harm done, though as others have said I don't think it was really necessary to create a new topic to apologize for what you said in another topic.

Hmm.. Maybe you're right.
I just wanted to revoke the old posts existence.
I suppose I should have apologized on that post, and then deleted it.
Blah, sorry.

Please. Subject you opinion upon people as you like. These are to be viewed and seeing as they are. If you are true upon people who you can coincide with, them and there is a far limit of what you can express. Do not be disgruntled if someone finds an objective of your statement. With every question asked someone should learn something of them selves. You seem young and ready to take lead but you gotta learn by what others perceive. So learn and grow. Reach out as the ways you've done, find the kinks in the armor, do not fear to bring disgruntlement to these people. Fleurette, you've done nothing wrong. Tell these people what you believe furry is. Tell them what you'd like to see in this society. You're young blood. We want to know what's coming out of the youth. Please, tell us. This society can only grow with the young pushing us to advance. We're not in high school anymore. Teach us what comes from the new age of subcultures. Teenagers are scary. If I had the chance I'd be a teenagers all my life, then I'd always be ready for the world. What comes out of you when you left high school? We need to advance furry society, we need to know this. Pass on the knowledge you've learned.

All I can say to this is: If you are going to give us your opinions, be prepared for us to give you ours.

Just because someone says something opinionated does not mean that they meant any ill will or that it should negatively affect your "world". Just remember that an opinion is just that, an opinion. The only opinions that should matter to you are YOURS not mine, not anyone else's.

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd go that far. The opinions of people you respect and of knowledgeable people can be pretty helpful sometimes.

That's a wonderful sentiment but proves to be false in the real world. Sure MOST other people's opinions are irrelevant and don't impact you. However there are plenty of times that other people's opinion of you do impact you directly. For example the drunk guy and his friend's opinion that you're a homo that needs to have the shit kicked out of him would probably directly affect you. Or the jury's opinion that you are guilty. Or the bosses opinion that you're a bad employee. Life is full of being judged, get used to it as soon as you can because it does not go away.
