Arc Rise Fantasia??

Anybody play this RPG?
Yes I know the VA is TERRIBLE, But I think it has gorgeous graphics, beautiful music, and an enthralling story!
If you don't like the VA so much, turn it off?
Anybody else play ARF??
(If not, it's an AMAZING RPG for the Wii, and if you like RPGs, and have a Wii, I recommend you get it RIGHT NOW!!)

actually just about to give this game a whirl, I also want to start up Xenoblade Chronicles since it has such stellar reviews (it's a completionist's dream...or nightmare...probably the latter more so XD) but have to wait until I get a classic controller later in the month since I despise motion controls (yes, and I own a wii...mostly for modded purposes mind you)

hopefully the voice acting won't be too bad, reviews suggest you eventually get used to it though so *shrug*

It's bad, but oddly charming.
You will get used to it, you won't be able to see those characters with any other voice.
AND if it really terrifies you, you can the option of turning it off.
It's a REALLY gorgeous game. I think you'll like it.

You should take a look at Xenoblade Chronicles, it looks INSANELY good all round, it's *really* expensive to buy though (cough cough)

I'll probably be going back to my lovely revistation to Chrono Trigger until I can pickup a classic to play Xenoblades assuming Arc Rise Fantasia (what kind of name is this anyways? reminds me of that godawful MMO X_x) doesn't work out.

ARF, despite it's horrible VA flaws, still lists in my top RPGs! ^^

Yeah, Ryfia sounds like a mexican cyborg.
Sometimes her voice sounds cute on small occasions.
The best party member with an actual tolerable voice will be the little girl.

Xenoblade is quite fun. Even when using the Wiimote there isn't much in the way of motion controls :> The Last Story is also fun, and on the topic of Mistwalker games make sure to play Lost Odyssey, especially if you're a fan of pre-FF11 battle systems. That's still one of my favorite JRPGs this gen. Only 15 bucks now too.

I haven't played ARF yet, and I have a pretty big backlog of games still, but I may get to it some day. Never really looked in to it before. o:

I might be losing interest in the Wii, 'cause I haven't been buying any new games, but I'll make sure to look out for this game the next time I'm at EB Games, Best Buy, or Future Shop.
