So I plan on making a trip out to the wet coast and island. From the flat dry (drought here) prairies. I'll be in Vancouver and on the island a few days a piece. Would any fur like to meet for coffee? hopefully some place easy to find.

Some Guy

Coffee at Burrard area starbucks?

Orcus

If I can find it sure, will need directions, GPS coridinates, and a map. Also where is it? What's parking like? I should note, my internet access will be non existant during this time frame as well.

Silvermink

I might be down for that if it's during a weekend or a non-Monday-or-Wednesday evening.

ShadowKeeper

If you're around on a day I can make it, I'd love to meet another fur!

Some Guy

i have a cell if you need me, the starbucks is in Downtown Vancouver, name a day and such and i will meet you (unless im in school) , my number is 778-840-4286

Silvermink

Lemme know what you guys decide and I might drop in if it's a date/time that works for me.

Orcus

As of right now dates and time are kinda up in the air as things are not planned. Down town Vancouver is bit far for me to come for coffee as I'll be possibly staying with family in Aldergrove. The only times I'll be dow that way is to go the Aquarium and to/from the ferries.

then its not do-able lol, most live in the vancouver area, Aldergrove is much to far away and hardly any busses go out there. for me that would be a 3 hour trip just to get to aldergrive :O

Vanilla Skunk

Yeah...  I was trying to find more roommates to get a bigger place out on this side of the water, in Surrey/Langley area, and there were no real bites.

Star and I are out in Langley now, so perhaps we could coffee at the Tim Hortins right on the highway there, or in one of the malls on the way over.  They're generally easy to get to, and there is an aldergrove bus that goes past them if you don't have wheels, or don't want to spend on gas too much; it is rather expensive here.

Yeah, Aldergrove is a little far for me to come out for coffee, too. Surrey, maybe?

Which Timmy's - the one near Langley Bypass? I might be willing to do that - that's kinda my old stomping grounds, as I lived in Surrey at 184th and 72nd until I was 18 and I worked at the Wendy's across from Willowbrook for three years. :)

Another possible idea, this totaly up to you all. Would be to met at the Aquarium since I'm going there any ways. And Timmies in Surry/ langely is totaly doable.

Or near the Aquarium - lots of stuff in the West End.

Some Guy

Yea im from Downtown Vancouver City and i find it kinda depressing to pay $5.00 or more for transit to langley/surrey areas just for coffee that costs maybe less than that.  but if the aquarium it will be good.

Yup, That one.  20 minute walk from where we live; and the mall is a great destination to fart around in too.

Then you do it on a weekend, or after 6:30, and it'll only be $2.50. :P
