Aviation furs: pilots, people with general interest

I was wondering if anyone flies planes. Or who just have a general interest in aviation. Last week I started on my ground schooling for ultralights. I thought it would be cool to have someone to talk shop with. I'm hoping by next summer, I'll be out flying at least a little bit.

I nearly had my private pilot's license about 2 years ago but quit working on it to focus on school. But i'm getting back into flying at the end of the summer. I'm hoping to go commercial eventually :).

I was going to start getting my recreational flying permits four years ago as well. I had just picked up my first two books so I could do some reading before hand. But then I lost my job before I could go any further. As a kid, I had wanted to be an airline pilot. My parents would even have fun with the idea as well, since we fly out to Denmark almost every year back then. Mind you, this was back in the early to mid-80s.
