YouTube embedding option

While it's great that we can embed YouTube videos by merely entering the URL of the video, the computer I use to browse these forums isn't very powerful and takes a while to load up all the videos that can be on a page at the same time, as well as taking up a significant amount of my RAM.

Would it be possible to add an option to our profiles that would disable the full embedding of the videos, leaving a link to the video with the video's title?
Kind of like what the board does when the embedding limit has been reached?

Thanks.

A possibility: some browser have "flashblock" or related addons where you have to click the flash item before it loads. If you can blacklist this website (leaving other sites where desired such as youtube to remain as-is) it could be a simple fix.

I mention as sometimes addons such as the youtube for forum software (or is it built in?) usually have limited options.
