Seattle furs - contacts for local activities?

A friend of mine has recently relocated to the Seattle area (Everett, to be precise, up by Boeing); I'm trying to convince him to get involved with the local furry community, and he's asked about whether I had any ideas about how to do so casually. I know there's a good sized community down there, but I haven't a clue what kind of events happen or whether there's a similar board to this where they set up events, etc.
Is there anyone on this board that might be able to point me (and him) towards either some online contact points for the Seattle crew, or be able to act as a local contact to help him get involved?
