The Young Turks is a sort of independent news show that is more or less progressive.  Has lots of political news, but occasionally they do 'fun' stories, and one of them was about Furries recently.

However, I think Ana saying she'd date a furry (within the context of her high standards) Is just gonna lead to more and more spam mail for her, Rofl.
And she complains when 1/2 the comments on the videos/TYT's youtube PMs are full of people praising her. *shrug*

The swear jar for terms relating to sexual aspects regarding the furry fandom is now overflowing - cause this is what the media considers over 90% of the time regarding the furry fandom.

However, thats exactly what happens to every fandom.
People aren't likely to look for the good in everyone, leading to schadenfreude if there's ever any deviant parts to a fandom.
To be honest, its better to just roll with it because the effort of trying to kill a steriotype about a fandom is pretty pointless.

Like how some of my brony friends will break their 'Love and Tolerance' creed when faced with someone who doesn't like how pushy bronies can be.

A probable solution may be to just consider you as a person above any fandom/religion/job/whatever, just for a rational sake :/
