Hey, I'm Sheppy. Moved here to Vancouver from Prince George back in Feb of '09 to start school. I'm 20, been a fur since about 16. Came to this site when I was encouraged to do some more searching after seeing a couple fursuiters when wandering around the new Vancouver Convention Centre durring that anime expo with a buddy. Couldn't say or do much at the time though since none of my friends know about that side of me, and I will probably keep it that way. :P

I'm really into cars - specifically watercooled VW's - and videogames - I'm studying Game Design right now.

I might try and attend a meet, but I am pretty shy, and I'm also swamped with my studies.

Were one or both of you in suits? The two I saw were in that part between Canada Place and the Convention Centre, in the shade obviously. :P My memory is super fuzzy for some reason. One was I think a wolf and that's all I remember. I think I was just so amazed to see real life furries that parts of my brain exploded. :P Actually, that whole experience of just watching the anime fans and seeing fursuiters was enough to give me some really interesting dreams last night. There's never anything even close to that in Prince George.

By the way, I didn't go into the convention, just walked around the perimeter a few times a day. My friend and I never got tired of watching all the people. I'm not quite big enough of an anime fan to go inside (unless I had a source of income maybe) but it makes me wish there was a big scale furry con here. :P

I was hanging around Sairys a few times while he was in suite. Also there isn't a large scale furry con here yet but there is Howloween which is now back on track. Usually brings in 150-200 furs and will be happening in October this year in Surrey next door to King George Station.

I wouldn't mind trying Howloween, school is supposed to pick up a lot around then though so we will see.

That's pretty far away. There are a lot of other meetup's until then. Should totally give one of em a try. Maybe the games night on thursday or next months furmeets. Those are always the best.

I've had some watercooled VW's, including a 2 door 1984 Diesel Jetta, and two TDI Golfs.

My father had a 60's beetle that did wheelies, had a built motor with a turbo pushing 24PSI. Can you imagine?
