Well, if you aren't goign to AE, you could come to the local furmeet.  It will probably be smaller, and I know for sure that there'll be other girls there, so you won't be the only one.

That's a good idea -- I'm really interested in the capture the flag [field games?] one because I love doing simple old style fun things with others.  But I'm not athletic, so.. ><~

at local furmeets, do most people wear costumes..?

Most people at furmeets just wear normal clothes. But there's usually a couple in costume, and most furries like having a couple people in costume at meets.
