First off, what is seventh sea?
The 7th Sea RPG is set in a world that draws direct influence from the literature of 17th century Europe. Each country in the world can be compared to a European kingdom but is an exaggerated representation. Sorcery is a large part of the world with many types available to players. The dominant religion in the world, the belief in Theus and his prophets, is based on a form of Gnostic Christianity and features a parallel of the Spanish Inquisition. There are also references to the Knights Templars, Masons and the Invisible College of scientists.
All major European powers have their representations in Théah. Avalon (England), Castille (Spain), Montaigne (France), Eisen (Germany), Ussura (Russia), Vendel/Vestenmanavnjar (Netherlands / Scandinavia) and Vodacce (Italy) are the main cultures of the game. There is also Inismore (Ireland), Highland Marches (Scotland), the Crescent Empire (Ottoman / Arab), Midnight Archipelago (Caribbean and North Africa) and the secretive Cathay (China / Korea / Tibet).

Basically it's a swashbuckling tabletop RPG that involves more RP than dice rolling. A great character and a great idea can triumph over the greatest roll of the dice.
What that means is, don't come looking if all you want is hacky slashy combat, this is not D&D.

What we are looking for:
A mostly mature player (we have our naughty moments).
Preferably someone with their own set of D10's (not a requirement)

That's about it. Someone who wants to have fun, let loose and lose themselves in a character of their design.

We game on the weekends and depending on work schedules we have played friday nights, saturday nights or sunday days. So this would work best if you were available on those days.
Our gaming area is located near lougheed. Walking distance from skytrain... otherwise those who live along king george/10th ave in new west may be able to get a ride.

Who we are:
4 players and a GM (mostly guys with a girl *gasp*)
We're fun loving people, our sessions are usually more humorous than not. We crack jokes, go off on tangents and generally have fun. We've been playing for years and we feel that it'd be nice to get a bit of new blood into the group.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.
Any applicants will be screened by the group. We are not elitist or cliquey but there are certain personality types we just don't get along with. I promise everyone will get a fair shake but we just need to make sure you fit before we pick you.
We've had some bad apples before and we just want to prevent it from happening again.
