A Fox in the Valley

Hey you guys!

I guess it's about time I made my introduction here, huh? A lot of you already know me, and a few of you quite well, but I suppose it's time I gave in and really got active here in the forums.

My name is Rhari, I'm an artist and stay at home mom in Chilliwack. I've been active in the fandom since 2001 and hosting events and socials since 2003. I come from the St.Albert/Edmonton furries group and moved to the wack in 2007. Since then I've hosted valley get togethers, an annual new year's party and misc outdoor events.

As to my art, I've drawn since I could hold a pencil and it's only gotten better with time. I'm on furaffinity under the same username. I post to a variety of sub-groups in the fandom (Chakats, Chubby, Lil Furs, Leather furs, etc) but my style can be summed up as "Toony-Cute" or "Tooth-decayingly adorable" I do take commissions, but on a limited basis as I have a number of large projects on the go at any one time. (Think too little butter over too much bread!)

Anyway! I haven't been able to make it out of the valley much in recent months, much to my dismay, but I'm looking forward to mayhaps seeing you all at Vancoufur this year and some more events into the new year!

Yay! It's good to know there are furs in Chilliwack! I could be moving there in a couple months for groundschool and furry withdrawal is something I'd like to avoid.

And yeah! you should definitely come have fun at Vancoufur with us all!

We have regular get togethers in the 'wack, if an when you come out this way, look me up and we'll getcha involved! :3 Lots of video games, dinner meets and the like. :3 We also sometime fursuit around the river and go 4x4ing and the like.

Actually... he is.  I'm a lifer, been living in the 'Wack all my 23 years, and I do make it a point to go out to Van to visit the community out there.  The community here in Chilliwack is pretty stale... and small.  For a long while, I thought I was the only one. o.=.O
