You really shouldn't do things like this. It's like Zenia says you're basically shouting out "I need someone! Who wants me? Anyone?", it's incredibly unflattering and will always attract the worst people. Have some respect for yourself.
The very fact that you state you have "emotional issues and some anger management problems", regardless of how young you are the last thing you need right now is a relationship if that is the case. It's a recipe for disaster.

Unfortunately, you can't shop for a mate like you can for plushies. There is absolutely no gaurantee that anyone who responds to this thread will be more compatible with you than a random stranger you bump into on the street. (Not said with malice, btw.)

If you are looking for a mate, you already have a huge advantage that most of us 20-something furs don't. You have access to a vast real life social scene; high school. You are in school with a bunch of people your own age, who live in your town, and you can see and interact with them on a regular basis.

Now, granted, a lot of the people in highschool are douches. I don't deny that. However, if you can start to find people with the same interests and hobbies as you have, then you'll stand a much better chance of finding someone you are compatible with, and actually like, than trying to find someone on the internet. I know that you said you wanted to be with another fur, but there is nothing to say that you won't find someone at your school who is fur-curious.

Most people actually have no idea what being furry is all about; they are either totally oblivious, or they think that it is purely a sexual fetish. When being furry is presented as something other than just sexual, natural human curiosity kicks in, and they end up wanting to know more. Convert, convert, convert! XD

Seriously, everyone has "emotional issues because of something in their past". Generally speaking, it's not something you want to broadcast to the world, or to potential dates. It just furthers your image as needy and unstable. The first thing anyone's going to think is either "aww, I can fix him!" which isn't a long term relationship, its a project, and you'll end up worse off, OR they'll worry that you'll go suicidal if they ever try to leave, and won't want to open that can of worms.

The best thing you can do is get over the high school pressure of having some one and focus on you. You can not love another until you love yourself.

I wouldn't say keep your emotional issues to yourself, but there's a time and place for everything, and it's always important to hit off with a high note. It's only once your relationship stabilizes, then you can express yourself out poco a poco so that you wouldn't end up overwhelming and giving off the wrong unintended relationship signals.

I doubt you'll find anyone near your age on the island, let alone on this site. It's pretty uncommon.
At that age, searching on the internet is a horrible idea. XD
Focus on your own life and finishing high school right now, then begin searching when you graduate. Life is ten times easier then (or so I've heard... ><).

Gah this is touchy. I agree withe Zenia but at the same time disagree... I want someone desperately but at the same time know that you shouldn't go asking. Anyweh just get your drivers license and get to some meets. I am getting my license soon and might wager visits to BC More often! but Im always open if you want to chat ;)
