Heya all.  I might be moving down towards the general area of Surrey, due to the current place I am living in being up for sale.  I was wondering what rent was like in the area, thought I would how bad the finances are going to end up being.  Not sure if it would be renting a house, a apartment, or just trying to find a room, but I thought I would ask here and see what prices were like.

Rent is surrey is a lot cheaper then Burnaby thats for sure.
Check the Vancouver Craigstlist for the Surrey Area. Itll show you whats available and what the rent is like.

if you're willing to settle for something shitty you can get like 300-400 a month

The cheapest I have seen is about $600 for a,1bdr basement suite, it goes up from there.

if you can find compatible roommates you can try to find a house to rent, more privacy that way.

Yeah, there is going to be three of us most likely, which means either a decent sized apartment, or renting a home.   Though moving is still depending on the house actually getting sold, which seems to have a low chance currently.  More people moving away from the town then there are people wanting to move to it. ^.^

3 bedroom apartments  out in surrey ... average... 800 and up. you might be able to get a townhouse for as cheap as 900 though.
