Had nothing to do with the hockey, as was found out after the fact. It seems there would have been a riot win or lose. According to reports, emails and other postings (facebook), were sent out requesting people to bring rocks bottles and other items. Soley for the purpose of raising havoc, vandalism and looting, the hockey game was just the excuse!!

Well I sure hope a copy of that video was sent to the police, or at least a link to the page. That jacket stands out well, not to mention the fact he injured himself. The a-hole caught in the front taping this should be nailed also, grounds inciting to riot. I heard there were a few that stood up for our city, even more then that one chap. I saw someone videoing the ass in the shirt with the forty on it, you know I think we should go back to some of the middle age practices, throw them in the stocks in public and leave him there for a day or two.

This is a 21st Century riot.  Brought to you by people with too much information and not enough regret.

I think if people had information, or brains, they wouldn't riot in the first place. This was brought to us by morons that wanted to riot and spring-boarded the loss to do so easily.

Katsuke, don't go and do that, that would be a loss for you and the others in the community (not furry but Vancouver). Don't let the old saying a few bad apples spoil the bushel. Vancouver is a great place for the most part, just take a look at the Olympics, last group of beeps that started a riot was in 1994.  If we all did that (stay at home) because of a bunch of, of ..... bad apples, we would have no fur meets, no conventions .... no community. Looking forward to your arrival, this community will show you what Vancouver is really like. Nothing like what you saw last night.

Well obviously, yeah, I know that. I'm not saying the whole Vancouver is like that - No no no, I didn't say that.
I spent my time in Vancouver last year with z00p (a month actually) and I loved it to death. :U
You won't believe how much of Canada I missed so badly when I landed back in Malaysia.

Well that is great to hear, hate to see you miss out what vancouver can really be like. Didn't know you had been, thought that might have been chased off. I chatted to a few people who had never been, saw the bull the other night and were thinking twice about coming to.
