I could really use some help with anatomy and anthro drawing for a project I'm working on. Anyone willing donate some time to meet up for some arting. Or we could even a kind of impromptu art jam this weekend? Or is that too soon a notice?

If people are willing, and this would be at sometime after the month of June, I might be able to lend some space for a small get together for some art meets.

They kinda fizzed out for a while.
Unfortunetly I don't really have any time this month. -^-;

I could try and host one like next month at metrotown.
I'm not really sure who would go. :x

That would be cool. You should totally do that. c:

Star was having them weekly Jim till she had to move to abby. There has been talks about having weekly ones again, but I am not sure who would be running them. I understand Brittany, that you were thinking of running a monthly one. It is nice that you stepped up to the plate to offer your time, would be nice if we could get regular art jams going again. I for one would love to learn how to draw.

I used to run the art jams for several years until a gradual decline in attendance made it necessary for me to pull the plug as it were, ( I live too far out of the city).  One of the reasons for the decline and failure was that they were held in public places where some found it uncomfortable to draw furry subject matter.  As mentioned above Star took over as the art jam host and had it in a private home where peering eyes from the public would not be present. I wanted to go to one of her jams but private life matters came up on Sundays so I never ended up making it, I have always felt that it is probably better if the jams are held at a private residence.

Whomever ends up taking over should remember to announce the event a week in advance with time, date etc.

I would like to try and go if and when you do one, even if it is in Metrotown.

Ya, I remember talking about her moving out and all. When I mentioned to Gizmo about setting up a fursuit workshop at home, I guess he thought I was reffering to a teaching workshop instead. It got me thinking that I could try to host an artjam here as well. Room mate says shes ok with me setting things up in the front room for the workshop (fursuit one), I'm not sure about a small group of people yet. I'm waiting till after June due to issues with the other room mate. He'll be moving out by then.

I will take this over if no one else wants to.
I have art jams in my house but we can meet out if people like.
ART IS MY FAVORITE!!!
I encourage all kinds, even paper mache projects and hand sewing. Digital and traditional.
Whatever. So long as people hang out and work as well. :D We do theme nights as well.

Temrin

I know that if Hex and i get this place (we'll know in a few days) We'll definitely host some here and there :3

:( I would totally go to art jams. That is, if I lived on the mainland. Sadly, I do not live there. T___T

I am so jelly.

I agree with this. The idea is completely fabulous I'd love to get more experience in drawing and learn about other artistic activities :3

Would need a proper place and clothing to get all messy with the clay but a good idea ^.^

I also like going to Metrotown to jam if anyone does any impromptu sketchin' like I do.

Would these jams be animal friendly? :3 the actual four-legged kind, not the party or two-legged kind.
Also, I'm happy to donate supplies so people who don't have their own can share!

In regards to bringing the four legged kind to an art jam if I have it here at home, I'm not too sure. We already have a few of the sort living with us. Otherwise it would have to depend on where else the jams are held I woudl suspect.
