Well... my bf and I are moving to Vancouver at the end of August. I'm so excited! SO VERY EXCITED! xD
Hopefully I'll have my suit finished my Halloween too! :D

I finally have a proper job! =^.^=
I'm now an apprentice sewing machine technician at my mom's favourite quilt store.
It's within walking distance, is relatively easy to bike to (once I get back in the habit), and starts at $12/hour.

I suppose I can be glad for the bumper crop of spiders keeping the mosquito population down? There's one every foot or so on the eaves at work, and my attempt at making peppermint tea this morning became more of a small cup of spider mintystrone soup...

Maybe the second or third one.

There are several things that have a pretty high priority on the first one...
(driver's license, new shoes, new bike helmet, new bike brake pads, etc)

The realization that in a few weeks I'll have survived 3 decades, and I'm still in somewhat reasonable health despite every curve-ball I've been thrown. I suppose that's cause for a little celebration. As for what and how, I've got no ideas; If anyone would like to suggest how I ought to spend my 30th (Rather than ignoring it like I've done for almost every birthday for 10 years!), please poke me.

Over the last 2 years I have had my car off the road and have been putting countless hours into it when I'm not away at school. This week it started for the first time with the new engine, passed aircare, and I have been having a blast driving it and breaking it in.  :birdy:
