No School Furs

Yes, No school for me. Even though I should and probably will hafta get some post secondary in the future, My job right now is what keeps me going and in pace with my life. How many furs here just dont have any school at all? What job do you have that keeps you busy most of your days?

but I'm trying to get into either one right now. It's just that nobody wants me. :-[

My highshool grades suck, so given availability I need to wait for an open spot in night school classes to appear.

As for work, I've sent applications and resumes to 12 different places now, and I got just a single call back and a failed interview. :-\

I can do that for my physics course, but for my biology and chemistry classes I'd have to enrol in a school that has a laboratory. :-\

I haven't been to college/university. I currently work as a seamstress in an alterations shop. I also sew rat hammocks on the side and do art commissions.

Yep. I go through Surrey Connect. Granted, I haven't actually started the course yet, technically. i did the first assignment, then got distracted, and have since had to start over. At least I wasn't that far into it!

Huh, when I first mentioned the topic to my school counsellor last year he said I would need to attend an actual bio/chem class in person because the necessary lab experiments couldn't be replicated from my own house.

Many colleges around here will allow you in with low HS grades. Git in there and get some high marks, make sure you take care of your prereqs, and you can apply to university.

I work my tail off at a company full of slackers, and I got the layoff notice. I guess I should be a slacker from now on.
