Uni,

I was wondering what the option is to create a banner that mentions the name and date of an event taking place in the months to come. How appropriate is it to have a banner that has text in addition to an image? Depending on the options I may be interested for May and possibly August.

I suppose that would depend on what type of event you're talking about!
