After many years of deep thought and conflicting emotions it has finally come to me. I have realized my anthromorphic alter ego.

I am a cat!   :-3

Not just any cat though, a flame point siamese.
We've carried several in the past at our store. I love the look of these guys so much, I wish I was eloquent enough to explain the romance I have for these animals.

In the past when I first entered the fandom, I desired to be a fox, but held back because of the 'unoriginality' or popularity of the species. I've had characters before in my various fantasies but they were almost always human. Out of them there was never one that was close enough to myself that made me want to play the part of that persona. There was Renwaldo, but he was just some vague 'mary-sue' gentleman I generated for the sake of having a username to use on games and forums.

However now I've given him a body. From this day forth I shall be known as Baron Renwaldo Van Veenmol, the siamese!
Anyone who doesn't get the Miyazaki reference sucks.

AMZinthos

Yay a kitty!  :-3

Don't worry about being original (I'm a digimon x.x) or overpopular species just be what you want really and if someone doesn't like it they're dumb.

Uh-oh, did it come that way?  ???

My cat Sparta was blind in one eye. But he was the best kitty I ever had. He also had a broken tail, and was such a stoner.  Always having the munchies, and getting chubby. Might I add that he was retarded (Litterally) and had the softest fur in the world. Too bad he ran away when I moved in April. T_T

I had a fat cat with a broken tail. Pete we called him. He used to eat his food and the dog food, and still be hungry.
I remember we put him on a diet one summer because the vet said he was dangerously close to becoming diabetic. We went camping for a week and when we came back Pete had shat in every room in our house. Apparently he did not approve of the diet food we left for him.  :-X

For future reference this thread is now about all the cats we have ever owned.

yeah, she was born blind because her mother was affected by a mild pesticide she ingested before birthing her.
she has no idea she's blind and is ridiculously good at finding her way despite not being able to see.
if you throw a crumpled-up paper ball for her, she'll home in on it in a split second.

I have one kitten in my house right now that is completely blind.  She still runs into things, but she can find where you are by the sounds you're making.  She's a squirmy little thing too, and she used to hiss when she didn't know what was going on.

Now, two of us take turns patting our feet, and she runs back and forth between us, and attacks said feet.

I tried to get pics, but the lighting in my house sucks; keeps winding up blurrey.

That's pretty cool, Ren.  Good to know you were tactful about it and you didn't just jump in with a fursona for the sake of getting porn drawn of you. =P  You get respect points in my book for just that.

But hey, just because you know who you are now doesn't mean it can't change.  One of the more valuable things I've learned about myself and being a dragon is that we all evolve and change over time.  Neox has always been a dragon, but he hasn't always looked the way he does now, nor has his purpose in my life stayed the same.  I think his position now is pretty solid, but it still can change for me.  Never be afraid to question yourself and your beliefs for the sake of finding those answers instead of having someone else shove them down your throat for you.  That also doesn't mean you don't have to let people influence you, but you are your own person, and you get to choose what influences you take in and adapt to.
