The oddest thing I've eaten so far this week is a "curly potato" at the Richmond Night Market. Basically a potato cut into a ribbon on a skewer, which is then deep friend and coated with delicious flavoring of your choice. I chose spicy, and it was the best decision I've ever made, and one of the least questionable.

What did you eat that was odd this week? I WANT TO KNOW, OKAY!?!? >:(

Alas, i have not eaten anything strange in the past seven days, although just to keep things interesting, i will say something i have had (beyond seven days) those who do not eat sushi will think this is strange plus gross, i cannot remember what it was called, but its literally a large salmon steak, seared on one side, and the rest raw, and OH MY GOD, its GOOD ^.=.^

There were some potstickers that expired at the deli in the store a few days ago and I got them for free because we couldn't get credit.

They were definitely tasty, but some parts of them were as chewy as gum and took minutes to get down xD

I fried up some chicken livers with rice and an asian spice I picked up at T&T, it was actually all pretty amazing all-told, just very wierd.

The strangest thing I've had in the past week... probably chicken hearts... I get them maybe once a month.. they are good with a bit of salt and pepper

Why is that? they are a mostly... tasteless meat that is easily flavoured and fried in a bit of oil .. there tiny, you get maybe 50 in a package.. like you would any other fresh meat.. look for them next time your at the store.. real simple snack

I gotta agree that chicken hearts are great.  If you cook em up right you get an amazing texture, and they're also good for you!

I find frying them up in a pan, covered until they've been popping for a few minutes (tossing/moving them constantly so they don't stick/burn) is the best way too cook em up

Did it go down whole and fighting, or was it a bit squished?
