Was buying food at safeway and the guy in front of me whips out a handful of small change, he counts it out down to the last penny... which he didn't have and hands the guy exact change except 1 penny short, so the cashier then has to count it out... well the whole thing took entirely much longer than it had to, and when I finally got out of there I went to the cheap chinese food place... aaaand some guy walks out the door just as I come in with the last (good) box of food <.<;
so no delicious chinese food for me tonight D: thanks penny guy.

Oh the joy of living with your parents. It seems as though my mother has picked up a habit of going through my room and messing things up and basically leaving clues to the fact that she has found my various stashes of random stuff.

That mind numbing feeling when you try and be social and talk with people, but they are incapable of handling any concept or conversation that cannot be summed up in a twitter-length blurb. I am just finding this problem with far too many people these days, especially in the fandom... Some days it feels like people are programed to just omit anything that cannot be summed up in 12 words or less and it gets rather frustrating at times.

What the hell is wrong with evangelists nowadays that they're this dense? Using 9/11 to promote your faith? Seriously? See pic for reference, it's a pamphlet I found on the way home. I think I may have to have a chat with these meatheads next time I see a crowd of them pimping their church at the station, about tact and taste. Utter nonsense...

nice warm sunny day out and when i go out i will only want to wear a lighter coat, BUT i won't get home 'til late when it gets cold again so i am stuck with a heavy coat to wear / carry around all day. can't win for trying.

That's another reason I'm having problems liking my work for Canadian Property Stars.
You get picked up before 8am, which has been around the time the sun starts to come up and is therefore cold, work all day (in the now-hot sun), then get dropped off after 9:30pm, which is again after dark and therefore cold. =>.<=

I feel like a bloody idiot.

I got on my bus to where I thought my interview was going to be (it's on Main Street by the way), and I accidentally sat through the entire bus ride to 29th Avenue Station. I thought I was in the right location so I kept on going in the direction parallel to the road I intend to take if I got off at the right place. Cue a very confused and waywardly lost wolfdog and a rescheduling of the interview session.

People in this world who try and use fancy lingo, short hand or round-about descriptions for things all in an attempt to make themselves look smart and to make you feel stupid for having to ask them about something. It doesn't make one more intelligent by doing this, it just makes them look like a jackass trying to look intelligent.

IE:
"Oh yeah just a 775 running at 1024 FSB"

"A 775? and a FSB what?"

"Duh! Computer processor socket 775 which is what my quad core is and 1024 is how fast the front side bus is, it means the processor can communicate with the system..."
