Night at my work tonight was going absolutely well, an amazing night at work all in all. Then at the very end, our last driver decides to be a complete asshole to me. He had some issues with yesterday night and I was calmly explaining to him to the best of my ability why things went the way they did. He proceeded to get angrier as I explained, interrupting me, getting louder and sounding like a broken record. It's hard to explain the same thing in different ways when it falls of deaf ears!

Then after he leaves angry he texts me! He texts me and complains some more. Well now my manager knows about that, he has no right to text me after work on my personal phone about work matters, that's harassment. This guy has been a complete unreasonable asshole since he started working at my job, he really needs to go to some anger management classes or something, maybe medication. I also get a very unsettling gut feeling about him, like he's going to just stalk me home one day or something. Sometimes being a supervisor sucks, even if I make more money out of it.

I cannot understand why people have to be such asshole when they're upset about something, you can be upset but getting mad at somebody else who's trying to help won't make things better! I hate to say it, but I hope he gets fired one day. He's been a pain in the supervisor's/manager's asses since he started at my job.

(This rant probably would have had more swear words but I thought that would be rather immature to have a FUCK every couple words xD;;; )

if your manager is aware but not fully informed about this guy, arrange to have the manager stand to the side and observe the creeps actions towards you.  then it will be up to the manager to take action based on his/her observations.  something you might try is to make sure that his deliveries are always the last to be ready to go.
and never ever raise your voice to him.  stay calm.  and as calm as you can tell him you will do what you can to help him out.  then out of the blue, after he is starting to arrive later due to his load always being the last, have his order ready first.  then give him shit for not being there to pick it up and see how he reacts.  seems to me that he hasn't had a good _ _ in years.  that or his wife always yells at him so he takes it out on you.

good luck

Who has the authority to let this guy go or suspend him? I think you have enough grounds to write him up. Just count all the strikes, because if he gets three, he's out!

I bought some nifty knobs for my DJ controller and was going to get a three-tone color scheme thing going, but I miscounted and my order was one knob short, so now I have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the full effect.

I have been misplacing a lot of things lately. And I think some of them actually got themselves missing - even in my own room!  :-\

Why is it that any time I get emotional I fuck things up and if I try to fix it while I'm still emotional I make it like 100 times worse >.< ugh, how am I going to fix this...

By waiting and calming a bit before you try to fix anything, I would say. Some rational and sober thought goes a long way towards the empathy that is usually required to fix emotional problems. I, too, struggle a ton with the need to fix something -right now-, and it usually goes pretty poorly for me, when I try.

If I -have- to complain about something, to legitimize my post here, it would be that this week is passing too slowly! Wanna visit Van. furs naaaooo! ^.^
