Border fees. Got dinged $17 on a shirt because it was made in ... Haiti. If it was American or Mexican made, would have cost me nothing extra. Not to mention the stupid $15 shipping and taxes.

Maybe I'm weird, but I really hate the yuppie image that Vancouver apparently has. I read a hockey related article, about how the rest of Canada doesn't see the Canucks as a Canadian team, because Vancouver isn't Canadian enough for them. What? Really? wtf. And then it went into how no one in Vancouver was born/raised in Canada, and everyone here is a bunch of shallow yuppies. =.= I've never even been OUT of Canada. (and coincidentally have never wanted so BADLY to be out of Canada). I wouldn't call myself a shallow yuppie either. I don't have the sense of style to be a yuppie, least of all a shallow one. Bastards. So much for Canadians being friendly.

Doctor called back about my yearly cancer screening. Wants me to come in and discuss the results ASAP. This is rather different from the usual phone-call of "All clear, see you next year". I've lost three family members to cancer in the past two years. I've lost five total in the past decade, all to the same cause. I've survived a near brush with it in my younger years. Fingers crossed for a continued run of good luck, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not slightly terrified at the moment.

I know something is seriously wrong when my hearing specalist and the local medical clinic had a rather urgent tone with me over the phone thursday. That and I got a MRI booked for the 21st the same day. I'm a bit worried, could be a number of things, many of them leading to surgery. :S

my complaint in much lighter. Damn greedy bastards charging $50+ for a $20 game. I don't care HOW "rare" it supposedly is, it's NOT worth $100, especially not when it's used! fuckers.
