SIT DOWN SHUT UP AND LISTEN MUAHAHAHAHAHAH jk!!      sigh i am very fucking depressed way up here in Fort St John being that this FUCKING place is redneck central, i couldn't have my mo hawk, or my hat without getting told to take it off. I cant be gay cuz i would get beat the fuck up. There is no one like me here and i cant survive without someone to love even a dog or cat would make me happy but no cant have that either. I am alone and sad, i cant shair my emotions with anyone they are not accepted by my room mates. The would just call me names like pussy and fag then disown me OH right that already sorta did that lol minus the names. Why does my family have to be soooo perfect and not one of them be BI or gay something, why do they have to be so homophobic to the point i cant even let them know everything about me because of fear of rejection by my family.

Plenty of work in Vancouver.

Try visiting for a week...  get in on one of the better temp agencies, like addecco or manpower.  You might get a job on the first day, like I did a couple times.

Depends on the job.  Unexperienced temp workers tend to get about 400 a week.

BC's shitty minimum wage! If they could just bump it up to 10 bucks an hour I could afford to move out of my parents hovel!  :'(
Do the math: 10 bucks per hour times 20 hours per week equals 200 bucks per week. On average there are four weeks in a month, 4 weeks times 200 bucks equals 800 bucks a month! Can you imagine all the neat things I could do with 800 a month?!  :P

Or you could go on income assistance, or independant living, and make $68 more than that for doing nothing.

Or you could work 40 hours a week, and actually afford to support yourself without your parents.

Average rent these days for a bachelor is $550 and up.  In the city of Vancouver, maybe $750 if you're lucky.  With roommates you're lucky to be paying $400 or less, and most places will not let you roommate unless you each have your own bedroom.

I don't know how I'd be eligible for any welfare assistance program. I live with my parents, I have a roof over my head, I'm not starving or anything.  :P

28 hours is the limit I'm allowed to work in my current position. Rarely do I get shifts anything over 20 hours per week, even my manager's are only allowed 40 hours in shifts per week in their position.
