Academie Duello

So who else here goes to Academie Duello? I know there were at least a couple other people in the area...

I'm a green cord, and I go to the Saturday noon-2PM mastery classes, though I'm going to be taking three weeks off in June to do a class at Emily Carr.

That's tempting to try out, but I hesitate to get into martial arts - I'd hate to think what I might deal with considering my lack of peripheral vision on the right and poor depth perception. =P

That place is pretty impressive.  When I was in Vancouver last weekend I happened to come across it while exploring the city and watched for a bit.  Too bad I don't live in Vancouver because that would be super cool to try.

It's good exercise, and definitely worth checking out if you're at all interested and have the time, means, etc. The first 8-class course is $99, though the mastery courses after that are more (about $125/month if you come once a week, less if you don't mind a contract - I do).
