Recently just heard about this movie kinda thought it was funny cause i remember seeing this news on somthing very similiar to what this movie is about..  'Splice' Trailer
Also the movie kinda reminds me of Species.

Anyhow here was the news i once saw (there prob different news stories upon it this was just the first i picked out on youtube)

..Lol, i wonder what itd be like if one day we were actually to have made a human/animal hybrid. Would it like make the furry fandom get more bigger and what the hybrid is too look like.. A actual furry we'd imagine or some mutated mistake that will end up taking over the world. Lol
Personally i think if the world was to end we humans would be the first to destroy it so in my own opinion this whole hybrid thing if happened would be another classic tale of "robots" taking over

I have to agree on that lol i never really watched the movie just the trailer it never really caught my interest besides the fact of hearing news similiar somewhat ish to the whole dna mixing bit

I'd buy it mostly cause I adore Adrien Brody and I loooove sci-fi films! Though as far as a hybrid-mutant-lab-test-sci-fi movies go, doing the whole 'chimera project' thing isn't really new. It is kind of like a new spin on Species, minus the over sexed plot and really bad acting xD This film would probably find its place in the same shelf as The Fog remake.
