The sands of time cannot be stopped. Years pass whether we will them or not... but we can remember. What has been lost may yet live on in memories. That which you will hear is imperfect and fragmented, yet treasure it, for without you it does not exist.     ~Brom

I had mine for a little while. But it was ruined for me.
Worked as a goldsmith. Heck, even got to design pieces for people. But I was underpaid, under-appreciated and generally treated like garbage by the crooked, demented little family that ran the place.
I didn't touch jewellery for a couple years. But since I got out here, I've been able to set up a little shop in the basement. I can't wait to get back into it and hopefully make a bit more money off it this time.

dragonmanmike

my dream job.  well that would most likely have to be a concept artist for a large video game company, but I'm not good enough yet to be able to do that.  hopefully one day.

Rascal Coyote

Pro sports mascot, I can proudly say, I'v been there, done that!  ;D

Mana

To be a writer I guess... from hardcore pornographic novels, to writing a furry novel.... the type of thing that catches a lot of peoples attention due to the strangeness of it.
So we meet against for the first time. Full circle, eh?

Aphinity

Dream job:  to be a dolphin trainer at a research lab that works with their animals on a one-to-one basis, and develop a strong friendship with the animals during the job.

.. Oh wait.  Ya, done that :)  I spent what was left of my school money on doing that!  Gawd I wish the lab and dolphins were still around.  I really miss Phoenix :(

Ok, then my dream job is to be able to afford the things I want in life and still enjoy what I do.  A house, decent car, dog, occasional electronic and gadget stuff, and being able to provide a good time and lifestyle for those close to me, including friends when they visit.  That, right there, is the dream job of everyone, i would think.

In the end, I hope to retire running a whale watch company out somewhere in northern vancouver island.

Remember, it's not how much money you make.  It's how much money you need to do the things that make you happy.

I've always, and still do want to be a professional race/drift driver.

or a military sharpshooter.

and to be more realistic, I plan to try to follow a career as a mechanical engineer/factory supervisor in Japan.

Sheppy

I'd like to be a fighter pilot, a WRC driver, F1 driver, military sniper (though the killing of people doesn't interest me) level designer (hopefully when I am done school), automotive electrical engineer, automotive journalist at the same level as TopGear, or a huge lottery winner. :P

Xen Garden

I want to be a famous DJ, like Deadmau5 (Pronounced Dead mouse) or something. One that produces their own music, and is a DJ that gets to DJ at all the big raves/massives. :)

I will be a DJ, but I doubt I'd reach anywhere near the famous, or the semi-famous marker. :(

Blue

I want to be a designer for Nintendo's advertisements... the ones they post in Quebec are incredibly lame, and I always dreamed up some much better ones... and also merchandise too!
Your wish is mine to twist.

Charmy

Always wanted to be a game designer since I was a kid ^_^

I ended up going into programming instead of design because the pay is better and you don't have to go through QA to climb up the rungs! (psst, QA sux <_<)

I'd ultimately like to have my own indy game studio so I can do both programming and design, though.

You can fly as long as your eyesight is correctable to 20/20.  Even as a fighter pilot iirc.

Any other aviator furs around?!  I'd love to meet some?
Sure is. private pilot here :3  Maybe we should start another thread for some plane-talk?

I got my pilots license at 19. But I'd never planned for that to be a career. I've just always been fascinated by aviation and civil aviation has always been such a big part of my life having grown up in the Alaska Bush.

I've had a hard time deciding what my dream job would be since forever. its not Mechanical engineering that I went to college for, thats for sure. I guess I'd just like to be a technician of sorts for complex Audio/video electronic installations, like what we produce at my company.

I also dream of just being able to get away from it all and become a drifter; living out of my backpack. But I think realistically I would get sick of that and I dont have the charisma to pull it off either.

Fargo

Regional Haul Truck driver, or get on with the City of Kamloops, North Van or even St-Albert, AB Streets Divisions. That way, I could run all sorts of fun stuff.
